MummyMonday quote: I wouldn’t be dead for quids

quote i wouldn't be dead for quids

This has only just popped back into my head. My Grandpa’s favourite saying was ‘I wouldn’t be dead for quids’. While I never understood what he meant when I was 6, I do now! Some days I am just bursting out of my skin for being alive and it was one of these days last week that I remembered my Grandpa’s saying. He also used to say ‘I wonder what the poor people are eating’ every time we sat down to a nice dinner, especially on Christmas Day. Here’s to you in heaven Grandpa!
